Upgrade Service Altec Micro will only recommend the necessary hardware to improve the computers performance, based on the total budget that the customer has in mind. All recommendations are made in a logical & concise manner. In most circumstances, we will try to perform the upgrades while our customers wait. If the upgrade can not be done on the same day, or we are temporarily out of stock, we will try to complete the upgrade by the next business day. On-Site Service On-Site repair or upgrades will be performed within 2 to 4 hours from the time our customer requires assistance. This service can be pre-arranged as an optional On-Site Service Contract which we offer for our customers convenience. Methods of Payment We accept Interac/Debit, Cash, and Visa. Other methods of payment include bank drafts, money orders, and certified checks. All prices listed on our website are based on Cash and/or Interac/Debit payments. * All system orders require a minimum $100 dollar deposit to secure the order. We Sell Used Systems: If is very difficult to find many quality used systems dealers in the GTA area. However we differ from those which may offer the type of sytem you may be in the market for. We thoroughly test all of our the systems and upgrade the necessary parts if needed. This unique approach allows Altec Micro to make the used system more customised, and tailored to suit your own individual needs. All our used systems are sold with a warranty, depending on the type and age of the computer. We differ from private dealers who do not offer any warranty at all! We Trade: Unlike other computer stores and/or major manufacturers, Altec Micro offers the service of trade-ins on old PC's, provided the trade-in computer is in good operating condition. We will base the trade-in offer on the following criterias: PC's brand-name type, it's configuration and PC consumer demand. The customers PC trade-in, will then be issued an "In store-credit" determined and agreed upon by both Altec Micro and the trade-in party. This will ultimately help a customer in obtaining a lower price towards the purchase of their new computer system. We Buy: Altec Micro will purchase old computers, parts and related products such as monitors, printers, notebooks…etc. The condition of the products and consumer demand are both important factors in determining the best market value for your used goods. The customers PC trade-in and/or parts, will be determined, and agreed upon by both Altec Micro and the trade-in party. We Sell Notebooks: Altec Micro sells Toshiba, Acer, Asus, Fujitsu and other quality brands of notebooks. If we do not have it in stock we will place a special order just for you based on your own requirements and needs. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Our Simple Returns/Exchange Policy All products purchased through Altec Micro are subjected to the terms and conditions set forth by Altec Micro Inc. Refund/Returns: Any items may be refunded/returned, with the following requirements: Must be subjected to an automatic 15% restocking fee, (unless product found to be defective and verified by on-site service technician), thereby no restocking fee will apply. Must be within 7 days from the original invoice date of purchase Must have all original packaging (ie: cables/manuals/box), and in resellable condition. Exchanges: Any items may be exchanged with the following requirements: Must be subjected to an automatic 15% restocking fee, if exchanging for an item not of equal or lesser value. (unless product found to be defective and verified by on-site service technician), thereby no restocking fee will apply. Must have all original packaging (ie: cables/manuals/box), and in resaleable condition. Must be within 30 days from the original invoice date of purchase.
